Zoop.One - Software Development Engineer III - Backend Architecture

We are looking for a skilled and passionate SDE III Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

You will play a key role in building and scaling our B2B KYC platform by developing and enhancing microservices, APIs, and core backend functionalities.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and backend components.
• Create and maintain well documented APIs and queue contracts for interservice communication.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to implement scalable and maintainable features.
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle : planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Guide junior developers on engineering best practices like TestDriven Development (TDD), clean code, and effective debugging.
• Continuously contribute to team knowledge sharing and upskilling :
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Node.js or similar technologies.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience building distributed and highly available systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with event driven platforms using technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex production issues.
