Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with 3-5 years of experience in B2B / Institutional sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling Employee Benefits and General Insurance Products. This role is crucial for driving business growth, building long-lasting client relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet their business needs. You will be responsible for hitting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales & Business Development : Drive business growth by actively developing new business opportunities and achieving all sales targets. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships. You will partner with clients to deeply understand and analyze their business risks, providing the best possible solutions to meet their unique needs.
- Market Analysis & Strategy : Utilize your hands-on experience in market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. You will present sales, revenue, and expense reports, and provide realistic forecasts to the team manager to inform strategic decisions.
- Product Expertise : Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all general insurance products and their applications. You will be the go-to expert for clients, providing informed recommendations on solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all sales and business development activities are in full compliance with IRDA regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : A graduate with any specialization. MBA Preferred.Experience : 3-5 years of experience in B2B / Institutional sales, with a specific focus of 2-3 years in the sales of Employee Benefits and General Insurance Products.Product Knowledge : Good knowledge of all general insurance products.Market Acumen : Hands-on experience with market analysis.Regulatory Knowledge : A solid understanding of IRDA regulations.Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Collaboration : A good team player with a collaborative and positive attitude.(ref : iimjobs.com)
