Claims managementMonitor and analyze claims ratio, settlement ratio, claims size and frequency of recorded motor OD claims for a region.Conduct preliminary investigation to identify type of claim and extent of liability within the scope of the region and approve claims above branch limits as per DOA.Responsible for ensuring all regions are operating efficiently and monitor loss minimizationEnsure that all the claims are addressed as per stipulated guidelines and within TATConduct regular audits of Body shops to maintain Process standardization and address and resolve any areas of concern.Maintain proper documentation of complaints and grievances as per regulatory requirements.Support the team in assessing complex, fraudulent, and high end claims before reporting it to HOMonitor fraudulent activities & build mechanism to control the same.Implement SOPs for the region as directed by the central team.Relationship managementInteract with manufacturers to assess claims and provide feedback on their claims assessment processes for enhancing operational effectivenessMaintain relationship with market technical teams in other claims departments to discuss claims patterns and agendasInteracting with dealers to discuss various motor products and claims associated with it.Handle and resolve any complaints received by a customer in coordination with channel partners, while maintaining Quality and Customer service standards.Redress grievances received by customers regarding non payable claims.Makes prompt contact with policyholders and claimants to schedule appropriate method of inspection and set repair expectations.Regional ReviewReviewing defined metrics periodically and strategize to take appropriate actions in case of any irregularity or variance with the team.Monitoring adherence of various processes in motor claims to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsConduct periodic field visits and weekly reviews with the team around claim settlements / bottlenecks and lags.Review analytics for the regional team regularly to track profitability & loss minimizationTeam developmentParticipate in selection process to identify the right talent for positions within the departmentEstablish individual performance expectations for talent and regularly review their performanceIdentify training needs of team and create development plans for team members to enhance domain knowledge, negotiation skills and develop expertise to drive growth in productivityEffectively engage team and support in professional development of team members to minimize the risk of talent lossSkills Required
