Mayfair Housing , we are entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding our footprint across Mumbai’s evolving real estate landscape. To strengthen our strategic core, we are seeking a seasoned professional from the Real Estate industry who can shape the future direction of our products, brands, and customer strategies. This role goes beyond traditional research or marketing—it is about integrating market intelligence, consumer insights, design thinking, and strategic foresight to influence every business decision. The individual will act as a strategic advisor to leadership, driving informed decisions around product concept, pricing, design relevance, branding, and customer segmentation to ensure each development resonates deeply with the market and delivers sustained velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Planning & Positioning.

Define and refine product strategies aligned with organizational growth goals and market realities.

Partner with design, architectural, and project teams to ensure product configurations, amenities, and unit mix reflect consumer needs and competitive differentiation.

Position each product uniquely within its sub-market to ensure strong customer resonance and absorption.

Pricing Strategy & Commercial Intelligence.

Develop robust pricing frameworks considering demand elasticity, competitor pricing, project lifecycle, and brand perception.

Monitor market trends, absorption velocity, and customer buying patterns to suggest pricing revisions and incentive strategies.

Partner with sales teams to co-create pricing playbooks that balance profitability and market competitiveness.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis.

Lead continuous and in-depth research on market trends, customer expectations, and emerging lifestyle patterns.

Create a structured intelligence system capturing micro-market movements, new launches, absorption rates, and developer strategies.

Evaluate competitor products from design, specification, pricing, and brand perspectives to identify differentiators for Mayfair.

Brand Positioning & Communication Strategy.

Translate insights into compelling brand narratives and product communication themes.

Collaborate with the marketing and brand teams to ensure consistent storytelling across digital, on-ground, and customer touchpoints

Drive thought leadership initiatives, enhancing Mayfair’s brand equity and emotional connect with customers.

Customer Segmentation & Behavioural Insights.

Define and segment customer personas for each product typology and price band.

Map buyer journeys, triggers, and barriers to optimize communication and sales strategies.

Use data-driven insights to personalize customer engagement and elevate customer experience.

Business Analytics & Performance Review.

Build dashboards and analytics frameworks for leadership to monitor project performance, lead velocity, and ROI metrics.

Evaluate campaign performance, product absorption, and customer feedback to refine ongoing strategies.

Act as a bridge between data and decision-making—translating analytics into actionable business moves.

Strategic Advisory & Cross-Functional Collaboration.

Work closely with the Chairman’s and Managing Directors’ office to drive alignment between strategy and execution.

Partner with Design, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure end-to-end consistency in market approach.

Advise leadership on emerging market opportunities, risks, and consumer shifts impacting long-term planning.

Key Performance Indicator.

Product absorption vs. targets.

Pricing realization vs. planned benchmarks.

Competitive intelligence quality and utilization.

Brand recall, engagement, and campaign reach.

Conversion rate by customer segment and typology.

Timeliness and accuracy of dashboards & analytics reports.

Strategic initiative success and cross-functional alignment.

ROI on marketing and pricing interventions.

Lead velocity and sales cycle reduction.

Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.

Qualification.

MBA / Postgraduate in Marketing, Strategy, or Real Estate Management from a reputed institute.

Knowledge.

Real estate market trends (macro & micro).

Product development and lifecycle strategy.

Consumer behaviour and buyer psychology.

Pricing frameworks and elasticity modelling.

Competitor benchmarking (design, specs, pricing).

Brand architecture and narrative strategy.

Skills.

Strategic product planning and market positioning.

Price modelling and scenario analysis.

Quantitative and qualitative market research.

Customer journey mapping and persona definition.

Brand storytelling and communication design.

Experience.

10–15 years in strategy, product planning, consulting, or market intelligence within the real estate or allied consumer sectors.
