As a Sr. Client Partner - Digital Transformation , you will play a pivotal role in identifying, fostering, and incubating large-scale digital transformation projects for government entities at both central and state levels. Your primary responsibility will be to open doors and establish strategic relationships with senior-level officers (up to the highest bureaucratic levels) within government ministries, states, UTs, and their departments. This role requires understanding their challenges, proposing innovative digital solutions leveraging emerging technologies, and managing initiatives to align with the Wadhwani Foundation's mission of digital transformation for public good.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management :
- Initiate and nurture strategic relationships with senior government officials, understanding their challenges and opportunities for digital transformation.
- Manage existing engagements, focusing on sustaining and growing relationships through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Achieve breakthroughs with new initiatives and projects in accounts with existing traction.
- Engage new clients through strategic outreach, including cold calling, to build foundational relationships.
- Solution Development & Impact :
- Propose innovative digital solutions that can have a substantial impact on government services and citizens' lives.
- Ensure all initiatives and projects undertaken are in alignment with the Wadhwani Government Digital Transformation (WGDT) unit and Wadhwani Foundation's core purpose.
- Ecosystem Development :
- Identify and develop partnerships with startups offering niche and innovative solutions that align with WGDT, Wadhwani Foundation's purpose, and specific government requirements.
- Strategic Positioning :
- Engage closely with the Wadhwani Foundation's marketing team to continually position and highlight the work undertaken, enhancing our 'PULL' factor within the government ecosystem.
Qualifications
Prior experience working within the government ecosystem is a strong asset.Skills & Expertise
Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture strategic relationships at the highest bureaucratic levels within government.Strong understanding of identifying, fostering, and incubating large-scale digital transformation projects .Familiarity with emerging technologies and their use cases is highly desirable.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.Ability to understand complex government challenges and translate them into actionable digital solutions.Reporting : This position will report to the CEO of the Wadhwani Government Digital Transformation (WGDT) unit of Wadhwani Foundation.
