Role Synopsis
- Ensure timely and accurate hydrocarbon accounting processes.
- To support and prepare documents for period close.
- To ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- To work with the HVC teams to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queries.
- Resolve queries and issues as they arise with reference to relevant resources such as the Group Reporting Manual, working with the Rhine and HVC teams or other support from within the BSC.
- To align with any other job-related requirements. This may be defined by an attached task list or defined by one's relevant team lead or process lead.
- Provide effective support to system transformations in all phases of the project.
Key Accountabilities
Adhering with the tasks outlined in the QMS Systems of FBTPreparing hydrocarbon related invoicesControlling the completeness and integrity of hydrocarbon accounting processesSupport preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly, quarterly and year-end closeMonitoring of open items / overdue and incoming / outgoing paymentsLeading contract changes and ad-hoc hydrocarbon queriesContinuous communication with collaborators and following up issuesSupport audits (both internal and external)Reconciliation of billed bulk sales with stock / purchased quantitiesQuery handling and monitoringStrong interactivity with assigned Business Units, customers as well as with Business Facing FinancialsRun & verify the month end stock accounting processes, ensuring all movements accurately priced & accounted for and all adjustments madeProduce actual costs and allocations reportsReview Cost recovery reports and propose adjustmentsSupport the analysis financial results of product cost, storage and handling activitiesTo align with any other job-related requirements. Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceGood knowledge in Finance area (or willingness to learn the basics)AR / AP Process experience desirable (MM knowledge is an advantage)Proficiency in English; additional language is a plusWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company!
