Job Description :
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Contract Management & Legal Documentation
- Review, standardize, and finalize agreements for group companies (including from tax angle).
- Ensure timely execution of contracts with and maintain a centralized repository of executed agreements and legal documents.
- Develop and manage MIS for legal documentation and set renewal alerts via Lexcare.
2. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
Oversee patent and trademark filings, oppositions, and renewals.Maintain updated records of IPR assets and coordinate with internal teams for filings andresponses.
Ensure strategic protection of Company IP across all group entities.3. Statutory Compliance
Conduct factory audits across all manufacturing units to ensure legal compliance.Compile and update statutory licenses and coordinate with plant and HR teams for regulatory updates.Monitor and manage compliance through Lexcare tool, ensuring high accuracy and timeliness.4. Litigation & Recovery
Lead legal actions for recovery of dues, including issuing notices and filing proceedings.Coordinate with finance and business teams to track and recover outstanding amounts.Manage legal claims against the company, aiming to reduce financial exposure.Maintain litigation MIS and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Handling complex litigation including indirect tax matters, arbitration, NCLT matters, Civil matters and Criminal matters.5. Land Management
Monetisation of Land. Buying / leasing of land for business purposeUpdate and maintain records of land parcels owned by group companies.Conduct surveys and ensure alignment with government records.Create and manage a comprehensive repository of land-related documents and MIS.6. Handling of Secretarial Matters including handling Board Meetings, Committee meetings,
Annual General Meetings, Listing Regulation compliances, SEBI Compliances. Mergers and Acquisition.
