Role Overview
We are seeking a result-oriented General Manager – HR with proven expertise in Talent Development & Engagement, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, HR Budgeting, and Strategic Hiring.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience across IT / technology-driven organizations, start-ups, and mid-sized growth companies. The role demands a strong ability to shape high-performing cultures, drive digital transformation, and align people strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment (IT / Non-IT), including leadership hiring.
- Develop competency-based JD / OKRs, implement ATS / HRMS solutions.
- Drive employer branding, campus hiring, vendor management, and workforce planning.
- 2. HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute HR strategies.
- Drive organizational restructuring, succession planning, and change management.
- Partner with business functions to ensure A-level talent for A-level roles.
Employee Engagement & Relations
Build and execute engagement programs, recognition frameworks, and retention strategies.Lead initiatives such as Culture Committees, ERGs, EVP implementation, and GPTW surveys.Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.4. Learning & DevelopmentDesign and implement training frameworks and evaluation metrics.Launch leadership development programs and mentoring initiatives.Align L&D with business goals and succession planning.5. Performance ManagementImplement PMS frameworks including KRAs, KPIs, and OKRs.Drive a performance-driven culture with structured reviews and retention programs.6. Compensation & BenefitsDesign and oversee C&B structures and payroll.Conduct benchmarking, manage ESOPs, incentives, and statutory compliance.7. HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with labour laws and global standards (PF, ESIC, PT, ISO, CMMi, etc.).Develop HR policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.Drive HR digital transformation, analytics, and automation.8. Administration & IT OperationsOversee vendor contracts, administration, and office operations across locations.Ensure cost control, audits, and statutory compliance.Key Competencies
Proven HR Business Partnering skills across India and international geographies.Expertise in HR digital tools (BambooHR, Zoho, Keka, HRIS, ATS).Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to balance strategic vision with execution.Qualifications & Experience
MBA / PGDM in HR / Organizational Development or equivalent.10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in IT / Technology-driven organizations.Strong exposure to start-up, mid-sized growth, and multinational environments.Experience managing multi-country HR operations preferred.Why Join Autoplant?
