About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Nutanix & VMware Administrator to manage and optimize our virtualized datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI, VMware vSphere, AHV / ESXi, storage technologies, and enterprise virtualization best practices.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Nutanix clusters , including AOS upgrades, CVM maintenance, node management, storage configuration, failover testing, and performance tuning.
• Manage the VMware vSphere environment (vCenter, ESXi hosts, DRS / HA clusters, vMotion, storage management).
• Perform routine VM provisioning , configuration, optimization, and lifecycle operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers .
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans using Nutanix Protection Domains, snapshots, replication, or third-party backup tools (Veeam, HYCU, Commvault).
• Implement and maintain security best practices, access controls, logging, and compliance for Nutanix & VMware environments.
• Assist with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scalability planning.
• Generate documentation, SOPs, reports, and mentor junior engineers.
• Engage with OEM / support vendors for L3 escalations, patching, and problem resolution.
