Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in development using MF COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM & IMS
• Participate in technical discussions with vendor / business to understand the problem statement and provide suggestion / solutions to solve complex problems
• Learn new set of midrange emulator tools and support rehosting project
• Support the application on mainframe and midrange
• Development & UT
• Establishing connectivity with interface systems and support integration testing
• Identify hotpots / performance issues and fine tune them to reduce the run time / save costs
• Support all Independent testing like SIT,OAT,UAT,UVT
• Implementation and post implementation support
• Able to manage high sev incidents document existing functional services and interfaces

Skills and Experience Mandatory skill set :

COBOL, CICS, VSAM, IMS Database, JCL, DFSORT / ICETOOL, IBM Batch utilities, EZTRIEVE, REXX, webservices (Json, XML), MQ, Endevor, XPEDITOR, Agile methodologies, SCRUM, ADO or JIRA.
