We have an exciting role of Payroll and Benefits Administrator. You will be responsible for processing payroll and benefits administration as well as data entry and ad hoc reporting. Working within the broader HR team, this role is internal facing and requires an organized team player with excellent attention to detail and a knack for meeting deadlines. The Payroll & Benefits Administrator will work closely with our HR teams to deliver exceptional client service in a dynamically fast-paced, cutting-edge business environment
Responsibilities
Client & Agency Service :
Payroll Administration :
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll submission for 7+ agencies under the OMG umbrella
- Collect and process approved timesheets for Freelance employees
- Verify and maintain the integrity of payroll data while ensuring that payroll deadlines are met
- Process employment changes such as salary, leaves and terminations, in addition to bonuses, awards and retro payments
- Enter all new hire information, employee changes and terminations in the HRIS
Benefits Administration :
Manage the Medavie Blue Cross (MBC) benefits administration platform, including enrolments, changes, and terminationsHost benefits orientations and act as the point of contact for benefits related inquiriesAssist with pension set up and respond to employee inquiriesShare benefits communications with agencies under the OMG umbrella (i.e., NABS newsletters, webinars, updates, etc.)Reporting and Administrative Support :
Pull bi-monthly reports for internal stakeholders and complete ad hoc reporting as neededProvide support to the HR teams with on / offboarding administrative dutiesMaintain the following trackers : vacation, years of service, work permit and on / offboardingOther related administrative duties as required.Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or comparable experienceSAP SuccessFactors experience an assetExperience managing benefits administration platforms2-3 years of experience in payroll administrationAttention to detail and accuracyWell organized with the ability to prioritize effectivelyAbility to multitask, learn and adapt in a constantly changing environmentA collaborative nature and excellent customer servicePassionate and driven to get the job doneAble to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high levels of interpersonal sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and judgmentBilingual French and English always a plus but not a mustProficiency with MS Office SuiteSkills Required
