We are seeking an experienced Collections Analyst to help manage the collections process in our dynamic, usage-based tech company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing effective strategies to ensure timely customer payments, reduce outstanding balances, and maintain healthy cash flow . This role requires a proactive candidate with a strong understanding of usage and consumption-based billing models and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The impact you will have :

• Monitor and manage your assigned accounts receivable portfolio , ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices
• Conduct timely research, analysis and decision making for resolution of disputed items, short / over-payments
• Work with cross-functional teams , including Sales, Customer Success, and Legal, to align on strategies for delinquent accounts
• Analyze customer accounts and payment behavior to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement
• Work with cash application team to proactively resolve unapplied cash and timely posting of payments
• Generate and present detailed reports on collections performance, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and other relevant KPIs to senior management
• Collaborate closely with the billing team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing
• Ensure accurate customer records through proper account reconciliations
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and sales
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and data analytics to streamline collections and reduce delinquency
