Role Overview :
- The Senior Manager - International Sales will play a strategic role in expanding Strand's global footprint by driving growth in international markets.
- The incumbent will lead regional business development initiatives, manage channel partners, and strengthen relationships with clinicians, distributors, and institutional clients across key territories.
- This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and deep relationship management to drive sales and revenue performance in international markets.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Expansion & Sales Leadership :
Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies across assigned international territories.Identify new business opportunities and establish distribution networks or strategic partnerships.Channel Partner Management :
Manage and nurture relationships with international channel partners to ensure alignment with business goals.Monitor performance, track sales pipelines, and ensure timely execution of orders, reporting, and payments.Client & Stakeholder Engagement :
Build strong relationships with clinicians, diagnostic centers, and institutional clients.Deliver consultative pre- and post-sales support to ensure superior customer experience and adoption of Strand's solutions.Business Operations & Coordination :
Work closely with internal teams - including Customer Support, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, and Laboratory Operations - to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.Market Development & Representation :
Represent Strand Life Sciences at international conferences, webinars, and industry forums.Support marketing initiatives through thought leadership and product evangelism.Performance Management :
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while ensuring timely collection of receivables.Provide detailed sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior management.Qualifications & Skills
Experience : Minimum 7-12 years of experience in international B2B sales within diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or biotech sectors.Education : Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy preferred; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.Expertise : Proven track record of independently managing sales and business development in international markets.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.Other Requirements : Strong analytical and negotiation skills, cultural adaptability, and willingness to travel extensively (up to 40-50% of the time)(ref : iimjobs.com)
