We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented National Sales Manager to lead and expand sales operations across India for a reputed FMCG brand in the Agarbatti and Pooja Needs category . The role involves developing sales strategies, leading regional teams, and ensuring business growth across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive General Trade sales across India and achieve defined sales and growth targets.
- Develop and execute national sales strategies , forecasts, and business plans.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional and field sales teams across 8 or more states .
- Strengthen and expand distributor and retailer networks for improved market reach.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and trade partners.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and campaign execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the brand at trade fairs and promotional events to enhance market presence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in General Trade FMCG Sales .Must have handled at least 8 states across PAN India.2–3 years of experience in the Agarbatti or Pooja Needs category is mandatory.Strong background in sales strategy, distribution management, and team leadership .Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage large, multi-location teams.Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and territory planning .Multilingual proficiency and computer literacy preferred.What We Offer
