We are looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant (RMCS) to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Contract Compliance (RMCS) along with a solid understanding of subscription management, billing, and revenue recognition processes.
The role involves working closely with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support Oracle RMCS solutions that meet complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to end-to-end Oracle RMCS implementations, from requirement analysis and design to deployment and support.
- Configure, test, and maintain Oracle RMCS, Billing, Taxation, and Invoicing modules to meet business objectives.
- Develop and customize Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) reports and integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and scrum masters to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality deliverables.
- Provide functional expertise across Oracle RMCS modules and related systems, including BRM Subscription, UEL, and Rating.
- Support requirement analysis, design documentation, and technical feasibility assessments.
- Perform functional testing, review test scenarios, and validate post-development unit testing reports.
- Guide and mentor team members, define tasks, and distribute responsibilities based on expertise and workload.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues raised during development, testing, or production support.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, development standards, and governance procedures.
- Work in Agile / Scrum environments and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Support end-users during UAT and production rollout phases.
Technical & Functional Skills Required :
Strong proficiency in Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management and Contract Compliance) modules.Hands-on experience with Oracle BRM Subscription, UEL, Rating, Billing, Taxation, and Invoicing functionalities.Expertise in Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) for reporting and data extraction.Proficiency in Oracle SQL & PL / SQL for query writing and troubleshooting.Working knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Perl, and WebLogic environments.Experience in developing custom extensions, API integrations, and automated workflows on the RMCS platform.Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, especially revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.Leadership & Collaboration Skills :
Experience in team management assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality deliverables.Ability to review development work, test cases, and technical documentation.Strong collaboration skills work effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA, and architects.Capability to lead functional discussions, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with project goals.Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.Familiarity with integration tools such as OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI / CD processes.Oracle RMCS certification or related Oracle Cloud certifications.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.Commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions(ref : hirist.tech)
