Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Financial Leadership :
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide actionable insights and forecasts to support long-term growth.
- Collaborate with the board, CEO, and business unit heads on key financial decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis :
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.Drive profitability through cost control, margin analysis, and working capital optimization.Monitor and analyze key financial metrics (EBITDA, ROI, ROCE, cash flows).Cost Management & Controls :
Establish and monitor standard costing systems and cost accounting practices.Evaluate production cost structures, raw material pricing, and logistics expenses.Implement cost reduction programs across procurement, operations, and supply chain.Treasury & Fund Management :
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital requirements.Oversee debt management, fund-raising initiatives, and capital investments.Optimize interest costs and ensure liquidity for operations.Compliance, Risk & Governance :
Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, GST, and audit requirements.Lead internal audits, risk assessments, and implement financial controls.Manage relationships with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.ERP & Automation :
Lead implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Leverage technology to improve reporting, cost tracking, and operational efficiency.Team Leadership :
Build, mentor, and lead the finance and accounts team.Drive a performance-oriented and accountable finance culture.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of financial operations in manufacturing, especially steel or heavy industry.Expertise in cost accounting, project finance, CAPEX control, and taxation.Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.High integrity, leadership skills, and decision-making capability.Educational Qualifications :
