Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities :

• Build and Lead team of exceptional developers with a passion for innovation, full stack solutions, and financial services.
• You will be responsible for designing, building, improving, and maintaining our products and systems supporting global brokerage, payments, wealth management, account management, billing, onboarding, content, and custodian services.
• Products include global equities, options, futures, fixed income, structured products, currency, banking networks, custodian network, customer identification network, cloud services, money market and mutual funds, UCITS, banking accounts, and more.
• Every product we build is for external use by clients and affiliated entities.
• Our clients use our products to run front office, middle office, back office, administrative and compliance functions. This requires experience and confidence with the full stack of technology, languages, data bases, libraries, and building and deploying mission critical commercial technology that operates at scale with precision and with regulatory and financial implications for failure or downtime.
• Define, architect, and execute the organizational plan required to fulfill the company's and its client's business and technology strategies.
• Recruit, develop, manage and scale a talented technology team committed to developing innovative solutions aligned with the company's business model, values, and vision.
• Create a strong internal culture to manage technology projects with accurate time estimates, adherence to deadlines, and strong communication with stakeholders.
• Advise and make executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.
• Supervise all functional areas of technology including software design and development, enterprise architecture, quality assurance / testing, scalability, UIT and product operations and technical support, network and systems administration, and information security management.
• Design and implement technology information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Work in partnership with teams and business and technology leaders in the United States, Europe, Asia, and India.
• Stay on the leading edge of technology.
• Oversee architecture & design of technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions.
• Be responsible for mentoring and developing front line managers and engineers.
• Become and expert in the business of our Firm and our clients.
• Participate in strategic decisions of the firm and our clients, including advising our clients technology and business leaders, participating as a member of our Firms leadership team, helping our Firm to win new business and expand our reach into our client's enterprise solution needs.
• Conceptualize, lead, and deliver new initiatives for global locations and markets.
• Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
• Be a champion of engineering excellence : establish team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence. Implement a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement.
