Job Description General Manager – Sales & Marketing

Work Location : Kaggalipura, Kanakapura Road
Qualification and Skills
- Education : Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience : 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Mandatory Preference
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
Proficiency in Kannada.
Age below 40 years.
SkillsStrong expertise in Sales Closing Techniques with excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills.
Proactive in responding to customer needs and queries.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Electrical Panel Building Industry and IEC 61439 Standards.
Familiarity with Electrical Enclosures.
Exposure to Indian and Export Markets with knowledge of Statutory Sales Requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strategic and operational mindset to align sales efforts with business objectives.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue and Profitability
Focus on Profitable Revenue Generation and manage the company's P&L.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.Maintain a minimum 3-month order booking to optimize the shop floor overheads.Market Research and Approvals
Conduct market research to identify new selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.Secure approvals with principal companies and specifiers for profitable and sustainable growth.Sales Strategy and Customer Engagement
Actively pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.Set up meetings with potential customers to understand their Needs, Desires, Problems, and AspirationsNDPA).
Deliver effective presentations on products and services to prospects.Create detailed sales and financial reports regularly.Marketing and Lead Generation
Plan and execute marketing activities to generate high-quality leads.Focus on aligning PRODUCT-CUSTOMER-COMPETITOR-COMPANY (PCCC) insights into better strategies.Customer and Stakeholder Management
Negotiate and close deals while addressing customer complaints and objections.Ensure timely collection of payments as agreed terms.Gather and share customer feedback with internal teams for continuous improvement.Events and Representation
Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences to expand its market presence and network.Team Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals.Train, mentor, and support the sales team to help them meet their targets.
