Overview :

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented

Video Editor

who can bring cricket stories to life through dynamic visuals and impactful edits. The ideal candidate is fluent in

Adobe Premiere Pro

, has a strong sense of pacing and rhythm, and can craft both

short-form (Reels, YouTube Shorts)

and

long-form

content with flair.

You’ll be editing a wide variety of content — from

match promos

and social media reels to highlight packages and original video features.

Key Responsibilities :

Edit short-form and long-form video content for Cricbuzz’s digital and social media platforms.

Conceptualize and cut

match promos, highlight packages, and show assets

that drive engagement.

Use existing footage, images, and sound creatively to tell compelling stories.

Select and sync appropriate

soundtracks

to enhance tone and emotion.

Add engaging

typography

, transitions, and effects to elevate edits.

Collaborate closely with producers, motion designers, and the social media team to deliver high-quality output under tight timelines.

Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent visual standards across all edits.

Requirements : Proficiency in

Adobe Premiere Pro

(After Effects knowledge is a plus).

Strong understanding of

short-form content

(Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

Proven ability to craft

match promos

and fast-paced highlight edits.

Eye for detail, rhythm, and sound design.

Creativity in

typography

, color grading, and transitions.

Ability to work with both footage and still images to build compelling edits.

Knowledge of

cricket

is preferred but not mandatory.

Familiarity with

motion graphics

or basic animation is an added advantage.
