Key Responsibilities :
Business Development & Practice Growth :
- Lead and convert SAP transformation opportunities across the Indian public sector.
- Own revenue targets and pipeline growth for the SAP practice in this vertical.
- Drive responses to RFPs, EOIs, and tenders with pre-sales and solutioning teams.
- Build trusted relationships with CXOs, bureaucrats, and senior stakeholders.
- Represent the firm in key industry forums and government technology platforms.
Engagement Delivery & Leadership :
Provide executive leadership to SAP S / 4HANA programs (design, implementation, governance).Act as client sponsor for critical accounts, ensuring delivery excellence.Manage multidisciplinary SAP teams across modules, integration, data, and infra.Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.People Leadership & Collaboration :
Mentor and grow SAP professionals within the public sector practice.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Legal, Finance, Government Advisory).Contribute to strategic initiatives and thought leadership.Experience & Background :
18+ years of total experience; minimum 10 years in SAP transformation programs.5-8 years in client-facing roles with Indian public sector clients.Proven track record in sales & delivery of large SAP transformation deals (S / 4HANA, ECC, FICO, MM, HCM, etc.).Strong experience in government procurement processes, tendering, and compliance.Bachelor's in Engineering / Technology (mandatory); MBA preferred.SAP Certifications (desirable).Key Skills :
Deep understanding of SAP S / 4HANA ecosystem and public sector functionalities.Strong CXO-level relationship-building skills.Knowledge of Digital India & eGovernance initiatives.Proven expertise in deal shaping, solutioning, and client presentations.Strong leadership and people management capabilities.Excellent communication skills and familiarity with government documentation.(ref : iimjobs.com)
