VFS Global - Manager - Sustainability / ESG

Job Overview :

The Deputy General Manager ESG will drive the execution of VFS Globals sustainability strategy, partnering with stakeholders to set and deliver impactful targets, policies, and initiatives that advance our ambitious ESG & Implementation & Reporting :

• Support the implementation of VFS Globals sustainability strategy and associated policies across the organisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Gather, verify, and organise data required for sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and external ratings, while responding to information requests from key internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and circulate monthly updates on sustainability initiatives, highlighting progress, key achievements, and areas for & Best Practices :
• Stay up to date with evolving legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to sustainability and ESG compliance, advising on necessary actions.
• Ensure organisational adherence to applicable ESG standards and frameworks through timely monitoring and proactive risk Engagement & Awareness :
• Assist in the planning and execution of sustainability projects in partnership with internal teams and external partners, ensuring impactful delivery with strong stakeholder engagement.
• Drive ESG-related training and awareness initiatives across the organisation, fostering a culture of sustainability and continuous learning.
• Support in the development of Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions data management framework and its Social & Governance :
• Promote judicious use of natural resources.
• Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) :
• Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
• Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
• Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation, follow the ABMS Graduate or postgraduate degree (or global equivalent), with a preferred focus or certification in Sustainability, Environmental Data Management, ESG, or a related 10- 12 years of experience in a sustainability-related role within a corporate organization or consultancy, with proven exposure to ESG strategies, reporting, or project implementation.
