Job descriptionTrack, analyze, and interpret evolving policies, standards, and incentive mechanisms for hydrogen and ammonia. Support project teams in securing statutory approvals, permits, and clearances from relevant authorities. Develop regulatory compliance roadmaps and ensure timely submissions / documentation. Represent the company in regulatory consultations, policy forums, and industry working groups. Advise management on opportunities arising from subsidies, carbon credits, and certification schemes (e.g., CertifHy, IPHE, BIS standards). Work with engineering, operations, legal, and commercial teams to integrate environmental and regulatory requirements across the project lifecycle. Provide inputs on design and operational practices to ensure environmental sustainability and regulatory alignment. Champion hydrogen / ammonia safety culture by ensuring HAZOP / HAZID and PSM practices are integrated with regulatory frameworks. Bachelor’s / master’s in environmental engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Public Policy, or related discipline. 6–10 years of experience in environmental management and regulatory affairs in hydrogen, ammonia, fertilizers, or process industries. Strong knowledge of Indian and international environmental regulations, HSE standards, and hydrogen / ammonia-specific guidelines (ISO / TC 197, ISO 14687, BIS). Familiarity with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and emission mitigation technologies. Experience in regulatory compliance, permitting processes, and policy advocacy. Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong knowledge of Indian and international environmental regulations. Experience in regulatory compliance and permitting processes. Strong documentation and reporting skills. - Lead ISO 14001 / 45001 implementation and continual improvement programs.
