Key Objective :
As the IT Manager , you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the IT department , ensuring the delivery of exceptional IT products and services in alignment with brand operating standards and luxury hotel expectations .
Key Responsibilities :
Systems & Network Management
- Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components. Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain, administer, and optimize computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, software, and all system configurations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
- Operate master consoles to monitor system performance and coordinate computer network access and usage.
- Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
System Design & Configuration
Design, configure, and test computer hardware , networking software , and operating system software .Recommend improvements for systems and network configurations and determine the hardware or software requirements related to such changes.Confer with network users to resolve system problems and provide solutions.Network Performance & Future Planning
Continuously monitor network performance and determine where adjustments are needed to enhance efficiency or functionality.Analyze network requirements and plan for future changes based on growth or technological advancements.Guest Experience & Wellness Focus
Lead the rejuvenation of the room experience , ensuring IT services and products remain relevant and consistent with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices .Partner with all departments to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems that meet guest needs.Focus on continually enhancing guest satisfaction through improved IT services.Cost Efficiency & Training
Instill a cost-focused philosophy through regular team training and educational programs.Maintain budgetary controls to ensure optimal cost management and ensure financial responsibility within the department.Compliance & Operational Excellence
Operate the IT department in compliance with all legal, statutory , and financial requirements , as well as hotel policies and industry standards.Ensure that all documentation , reporting systems , security protocols , and safety practices are implemented, reviewed, and maintained.Ensure IT operations are aligned with product and service standards , guest expectations, and host management practices.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of systems experience in an IT role, with a focus on luxury hotel operations.Proven experience in network management , systems configuration , and hardware / software troubleshooting .Strong technical skills in network security , disaster recovery , and performance monitoring .Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while ensuring smooth operation of IT systems.Familiarity with wellness and sustainability trends in the hospitality industry.Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in training, supervision, and fostering a cost-conscious environment.Previous experience in a luxury hotel IT department is preferred.Performance Expectations :
Ensure continuous operational efficiency and high standards of IT service delivery in alignment with Six Senses brand and luxury hotel industry standards.Regularly assess IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, ensuring a seamless guest experience and optimal staff support.Maintain excellent relationships with both internal departments and external vendors to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues.Skills Required
