Water Quality Management Specialist

Job Title : Qualification :

ME / M.Tech in Environmental or Public Health Engineering, or Master’s in Chemistry / Microbiology (PhD preferred).

Experience :

Minimum 8 years in water quality management, treatment, or environmental engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, operate, and monitor water treatment systems (arsenic, iron, fluoride, salinity removal).
• Establish and manage water quality testing laboratories, including NABL accreditation.
• Oversee water quality surveillance systems using Field Test Kits (FTKs).
• Develop and implement water safety plans, sanitary surveys, and monitoring protocols.
• Coordinate with communities and health departments for quality assurance.

Preference :

Experience with PHE Department, Rural Water Supply Department, or DDWS (GoI).
