Key Responsibilities :
Application Support (80%)
Provide support for enterprise applications hosted on Windows Server environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to IIS, Windows Services, and application performance.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes using ITIL best practices.
Handle Windows patching cycles and ensure compliance with security standards.
Maintain documentation for support procedures, known issues, and resolutions.
DevOps & Automation (20%)
Assist in CI / CD pipeline setup and maintenance using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
Support infrastructure automation using basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
Participate in deployment activities and release management.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms.
Required Skills & Experience :
Good in-depth hands-on experience in Application Support in Windows environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, and Windows Services.
Experience with Windows patching and update management.
Basic understanding of DevOps tools and practices (CI / CD, version control, scripting).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
