Effective stakeholder engagement is a core pillar of AEMO’s work. Our stakeholder environment is complex, crossing government, industry, consumers and community. High-quality, proactive and consistent engagement will help AEMO to be a trusted partner with our stakeholders to deliver better energy outcomes for consumers and the community.
This is an exciting, early career opportunity to join AEMO’s Stakeholder Engagement Team, engaging across the spectrum of policy, system planning and operations. You will have a critical role in driving consistent, exceptional engagement in line with AEMO’s Corporate Plan, Stakeholder Strategy and Principles, across key items of AEMO’s medium to long-term system planning including the Integrated System Plan, Electricity Statement Of Opportunities, Gas Statement Of Opportunities and Inputs, Assumptions and Scenarios Report.
This role can be based across any AEMO site from Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Sydney with flexibility to work from home.
What you will be doing
This role will help to identify stakeholder trends and issues, evaluate insights and feedback, and provide strategic advice and recommendations that serve to enhance AEMO's relationships, trust and reputation with stakeholders, deliver better engagement and energy outcomes, and mitigate risks.
