Join us as Service Manager – Tuart House Women’s Refuge , where you’ll lead a vital program that provides safe and secure accommodation and support for women and children escaping family and domestic violence.
The Program :
Communicare’s Tuart House is a regional accommodation and support service for women and their children who are homeless, or are at imminent risk of homelessness, because of family and domestic violence. It is a culturally safe place for women and their children to be empowered and remain safe while rebuilding their lives. The service has been recently recognised, winning the not-for-profit category in the 2025 Busselton Chamber of Commerce Awards.
The Role :
As Manager, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-quality accommodation and outreach services. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensure compliance with best-practice standards, and work closely with local stakeholders to enhance community safety.
The role will be based at our Busselton refuge, with the position offered on a permanent full-time basis , working 76 hours a fortnight. This role will require regular travel to other sites. The role will assist with being a part of the on-call roster.

In this role you will :
Lead the design, delivery, and quality assurance of culturally appropriate accommodation and outreach services.
Oversee case management, intake, and handover processes to ensure exceptional client care.
Ensure services meet program specifications, service agreements, and WA Practice Standards.
Provide accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders, addressing risks and opportunities.
Offer on-call support to team members as per roster requirements.
Ensure outcomes are delivered in accordance with program specifications, service agreements, and the Code of Practice for Specialist Family and Domestic Violence Services for Victim-Survivors.
About You
You’re an experienced leader who values collaboration and cultural safety. You bring a proactive mindset, strong people management skills, and a commitment to keeping women and children safe.
In addition to the above you will have :
Relevant qualifications in human services field, or related discipline or equivalent capability from experience in related FDVA roles.
Significant experience in delivering evidenced-based interventions, crisis accommodation and outreach services.
Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership and resource management capabilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge in Family and Domestic Violence and Abuse service delivery and practice development.
Valid Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance.
