BA - Reconciliation - Investment Bank - Navi Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities

We are hiring for Associate - BA - Reconciliation at leading investment bank based in Navi MumbaiThe technical business analyst will be part of IT Core Reconciliations Project team and will be responsibleto deliver core reconciliation solution using tools including Intellimatch, Tableau, and Business Objects. Requirement gathering – Work with requirement providers including onsite team based in Montreal, Canada to gather and analyze requirements, conduct and participate in meetings / workshops to understandrequirements.

• Analysis – Conduct functional / Technical / impact analysis. Write functional / Technical specifications foroffshore development team based in Mumbai and Chennai.
• Testing – Support SIT / UAT and Regression testing. Create test cases as needed for testing. Update the IHCtesting tool, HP ALM as needed. Work on defect resolution on defects raised by Users.
• Coordination – This position will require working with different teams based in different locations (whichinclude Montreal, Mumbai & Chennai). Effective coordination between different teams is required.
• Documentation – Raise change request for extracts / data required for reconciliation and controls, Raise Jira’sfor development, raise service now for incidents, prepare test cases etc.
• Technical knowledge – This role also requires some technical skills like writing basic SQL, reading storedprocedures, coordinate file transfers / CFT connections and technical understanding of Intellimatch as a tooland basic report designing in Business Objects
• Support production activities - Act as level 3 support for production activities. Ability to give clear directionon issue resolution.
• Production Readiness – Work with extract / data providers, development team, and application productionsupport team to deploy fully automated reconciliation into production.
• Coverage – This position requires work overlap and some time overlap with onsite team based in Montreal,Canada.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
