We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services as per the company's requirements.
- Maintain and update purchase records and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for order placements and follow-ups.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest reorder points.
- Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to procurement and delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education
