We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong industry exposure to lead our finance initiatives across two key verticals :
- Client-side BOT Operations (Build-Operate-Transfer Model).
- Internal Finance Leadership and Strategic Compliance.
The selected candidate will operate in a dual capacity supporting client BOT setups while providing senior-level oversight to our internal finance and compliance functions.
The role involves extensive client interfacing, strategic negotiations, and coordination with consultants, all while ensuring internal financial leadership at a group level.
Key BOT Model Leadership :
Lead the finance component of the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model for international clients setting up offshore operations.Act as the client-facing lead to :Coordinate with GIFT City SEZ consultants for entity structuring and regulatory frameworks.Collaborate with subsidy consultants to evaluate eligibility and assist in subsidy application and execution.Liaise with legal advisors to draft, negotiate, and review service and compliance agreements.Oversee statutory and financial audits with external chartered accountants.Manage all corporate secretarial requirements with CS firms for ongoing entity Finance & Strategic Leadership :Head the Finance and Accounts team, overseeing budgeting, MIS, financial reporting, cash flow planning, and cost management.Lead group compliance and ensure all statutory, regulatory, and tax obligations are met.Support the preparation of investor presentations, strategic reports, and business consolidation plans.Participate in high-level meetings and negotiations on behalf of clients and internal management.Key Requirements :
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong relevant industry background.7-12 years of progressive experience in finance, with exposure to both internal leadership and external consulting / client roles.Prior experience in working with global clients, compliance setup, or corporate structuring preferred.Strong communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to independently handle external consultants and clients.Should have leadership maturity to work discreetly in a sensitive transitional setup without disrupting the internal team dynamics.Willingness to be involved in strategic decision-making and long-term planning.(ref : iimjobs.com)
