Preventive & Remote Analyst

The Services Execution teams are in the process of building out our Ecostruxure capabilities and looking for talent with a passion for helping Schneider Electric achieve its broader Digitization aspirations. The Preventive Connected Services Hub is one of the pillars of Digital Services execution and a key resource in delivering added value to our customers. It is a highly visible organisation at the forefront of Schneider Electric IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Digitization initiatives.

We are looking for remote support engineers who can combine their deep technical expertise and passion for customers, with the ability to leverage Ecostruxure Asset Advisor for Electrical Distribution, to improve the performance and reliability of our customers' electrical systems.

Responsibilities of the Remote Support Engineer :

    Possess a good understanding of Electrical distribution with the ability to analyse the data and alarms generated by Electrical Distribution Assets (transformers, Breakers, Relay, Motors) into meaningful insights and actions.

    Extracts and analyses data and runs analytics (software / expert-based)

    Observe the health of assets, including condition-based analytics

    Notify customers about the asset alarm condition through voice and email communication.

    Interacts with customers and provides remote troubleshooting (e.g., phone, chat, email, etc)

    Acts based on customer requests to create cases; initiates work order creation to dispatch Field Services

    Interacts with a Network of experts for advanced support of data analysis and recommendations to the customer

Qualifications :

    The Remote Support Engineer must have a proven track record of

    Provide excellent customer service and should possess a customer-focused mindset

    Effective communication (written / oral / reading / listening), with a command of the English language

    Ability to keep relevant stakeholders informed and build a network of relationships that would aid in business development

    Candidate must have the ability to influence and convince

    Ability to effectively manage time and remain organised across multiple activities along with an attention to detail

    Curiosity and interest in new knowledge in various domains Minimum Knowledge and skill Expectations

    Service experience with power / power monitoring equipment / industrial applications

    Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and proficiency with one-line diagrams

    Strong Technical writing and computer knowledge, fluency with Microsoft Office tools.

    Superior analytical abilities and a high degree of proficiency in working with data

    Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

    2+ years of field experience as a service engineer for UPS, Cooling systems will be an added advantage

Qualifications

Three or four-year technical degree or a 3-year diploma in the field of electrical systems, engineering, or like discipline

Minimum 3 years (5 years preferred) experience with electrical distribution systems
