lead engineer- Functional Safety

Key Responsibilities

• Define and Engineer product component Safety requirements.
• Work with the system supplier to fulfil Functional Safety requirements.
• Conduct system and vehicle tests for functional safety validation of system.
• Participate in review of Product component safety architecture & design
• Define Fail safe mechanisms.
• Vehicle / Hil integration tests for Functional Safety validation.
• Manage the application of the functional safety process.
• Support in development of Artefacts required for Functional safety Audits as per ISO26262 guidelines.
• Support in creating safety analysis (FMEAs, FMEDA, FTA, HARA, HAZOP) and review
• Work with the multiple suppliers to complete the DIA, safety plan and support the development of the functional safety and technical safety concept.
• Support the feature, systems, and hardware and software teams in the completion of the ISO26262 work products. Work with them to manage the development per the safety plan.
