Develops sales and marketing strategies and plans that add value to the achievement of companys goals and objectives.Develop an annual sales plan and a marketing strategy with inputs for the region. Calculate Sales growth from existing customers / markets & opening up of new customers / markets.Identify, recommend, develop, & appoint dealer and distributor network in assigned territory for retail sales.Assess market demand and prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for the region.Provide inputs to sales head for annual product portfolio review & long term strategic planning.Implement sales action plan designed to achieve order, revenue and margin forecasts.Drive sales of new products and technology in the assigned territory.Visit regional customers, consultants, & clients. Study requirement, application, selection & sizing of product, preparing techno-commercial proposals, negotiating, and closing the deal.Interface with sales management, customer support, & operation teams on a regular basis.Ability to build and maintain business relationships.Extensive travel, minimum 15-20 days in a month.Should be a creative, lateral, and innovative thinker, willing to explore ideas. Seasoned in team management and effective communication skills to create cohesive relations amongst inter & intra departmental team members and external customers.Computer literacy : MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, OutlookEducational Qualification, Experience & Skills :
- Graduate in mechanical / civil / water resource engineering from a reputable institute.
- Having minimum 5-6 year of experience in retail, project & institutional sales of PVC products
- (Agri pipes, casing & screen pipes, column pipes), fittings, pumps, steel tubing and water well screens, etc.
- Candidates working in water, wastewater, pipes & irrigation industry in the northern region will be preferred.
- Previous experience dealing with central and state government department, public health & engineering department, Irrigation & water resource department, public sector unit (PSU s)
- Jal Nigam, municipal corporation, bore well drillers, contractors and familiar with the EPC contract and tenders.
- Capable of working independently and interacting at various customer levels.
- Good communication, negotiation, & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interface with senior-level / decision-makers.
- Ability to learn about new products / technology.
