About The Team
The Supply Chain team is responsible to enable product availability across channels in optimized cost as well as time. This team delivers on strategic priorities and provides support through transformation to help Lowe's build best in class Supply Chain capabilities.
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the Transportation function within Supply Chain. This role will be responsible to Oversee teams responsible for three verticals - Transportation Operations such as Freight Audit / System Maintenance, / Exception Management, First & Middle Mile Transportation Optimization & Analytics and Last Mile / Fulfillment Optimization & Analytics. This role will involve the responsibility of streamlining processes, creating and maintaining reports / key metrics, resolving challenges faced in Transportation and defining & implementing transportation strategies. This role will operate with a high level of cross-functional collaboration both across Supply Chain, as well as with other enterprise functions (DACI, Tech, Finance, and others), SSC-Mooresville colleagues & field Leaders. Additionally, this role could interact with external partners (service providers, carriers, product vendors.)
