Job Summary :
- The Local IT Manager is responsible for defining and managing the IT infrastructure, Applications, IT hardware definition and refreshments, network systems within the organization.
- Works inside the factory grounds of Krones Machinery India, in Vemagal Industrial Area Kolar, Karnataka.
- Performs the tasks and instructions given by the Managing Director of Krones Machinery India and in line with Krones Group IT Guidelines & Policies.
- Overall responsibility and accountability for the IT & Digitalization related functions which will include people and budgetary management.
- Additionally, this role is functionally responsible for the IT support, providing guidance to IT Support Specialists, as well as addressing and resolving IT issues.
Responsibilities :
Plan and manage the annual IT Infrastructure CAPEX / OPEX budget.Operate, monitor and develop our SAP S4 / HANA systems.Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes for the subsidiary, in line with Krones Group guidelines.Roll-out Global IT initiatives, in alignment with the Global IT team.Manage the purchasing, installation and rollout processes in subsidiaries for IT hardware, in alignment with Global guidelines.Responsible for the technical requirements for purchasing and service contracts for IT infrastructure (e.g. Network providers, Cloud providers, Telephony providers, hardware vendors etc.) in alignment with the global IT team.Manage local IT infrastructure in the plant / subsidiary to ensure operational performance, availability, security, and continuity.Propose and coordinate the deployment and maintenance of IT Hardware and Network solutions.Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and networks, and make recommendations for improvements as requiredAnalyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to define IT infrastructure requirementsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT and act as IT support lead for the assigned organizationAdapt and integrate Krones Group IT guidelines and policies into the region.Serve as a liaison between the subsidiary business units and the group business units and technical IT teams.Responsible for local / regional technical operations of IT solutions.Act as a local IT Security Manager by completing system audits and assessments, building awareness around information technology security and protection, and implementing IT risk mitigation measures.Manage IT-related incidents, service requests, and changes. Provide guidance and support to IT Support specialists.Define and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field.At least 7+ years of work experience in an international business environment in a comparable position.Experience with SAP-related systems such as S4 / HANA, B1, R3Proven working experience as an IT Manager, or other relevant experience.Experience in working in a Factory set up and exposure in managing IT setup for OT environments is preferredExperience in leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware / software systems.Expertise in data center management and data governance.Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, cyber security and other IT compliance standards.Any exposure with Lead digitalization initiatives like smart factory and automation will be added advantage.Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.Strong communication skills, team collaboration & leading projects and teams virtually.Excellent project management skills and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to priorities tasks
