Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Programs Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of various projects within the Africa, Middle East and Türkiye (AMET) region for META. This role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, serving as the single point of contact (POC) for Meta, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in alignment with client expectations. This position requires exceptional proficiency in language, very high eye for detail, and proficiency in Google sheets, Google docs and slides. The candidate needs to be highly skilled in spoken and written communication including email etiquette, drafting proposals, documents, proof reading of documents. Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Management : Managing innovation programs for Meta in the region
- Work with the teams at Meta in planning and roll-out of the Innovation Programs - symposiums, hackathons and summits.
- Maintain trackers, co-ordinate with stakeholders and keep track of the milestones on a day to day basis.
- Nudge internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are on track.
- Key stakeholders in this case will be Meta Policy team, external technical program partners, on-ground event partners for various countries and lastly internal creative teams at Think WhyNot.
- Lead the project, identify potential red flags, alert teams at Meta and ensure projects stay on track.
- Travel to locations (countries within the AMET region) to keep ground control on the event and work with various partners to roll out the program smoothly
- In countries where ground partnerships don't exist, identify and empanel them for long term roll-outs.
- Ground partnerships will be with translators, event agencies, filming crews and production partners.
2. Client Coordination on Creative Campaigns :
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication on campaignsUnderstand client brief, translate the brief to the creative team and work with them to develop the campaigns.Work with a junior account management resource to actively develop the campaign with the creative teamOnce the campaign is finalized, scale up the campaign for the region.Scaling up involves co-ordinating with various Country POCS of Meta, understanding customizations required and localize the campaignLocalization involves making smaller tweaks in the master campaign, managing translations with trusted translators, working with voice over artists and finally internal teams to work on adaptations,Get brand approvals to check if the campaign is ain alignment with Meta brand guidelines.Work with junior resources to roll out the campaign in the media. This bit will be managed by an external media agency.Work with the media agency to track the campaign progress in alignment with campaign goals and tweak the campaign if required.Submit campaign completion and interim reports to Meta as required.4. Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutesPrepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other stakeholders on project progress and outcomesEnsure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members and stakeholdersQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mass Media or related field (Master’s degree preferred)7-8 years of experience in program management for MNC clients. Experience with consulting firms will be preferred.Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectivelyProficiency in Google WorkspaceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWorking Conditions :
