About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Equity Research & Portfolio Management Associate to independently manage day-to-day activities related to our investment portfolio in the Indian equity markets. The ideal candidate is financially strong, analytically sharp, reliable and genuinely passionate about public markets.
The role requires the individual to take ownership of researching new investment opportunities, monitoring existing positions, executing trades, and managing all related documentation, reporting, and compliance. While guidance will be available, the candidate is expected to function proactively and independently, with strong discipline and decision-support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily research on equity markets, sectors, and individual companies.
- Identify new investment opportunities and present clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Track existing portfolio positions and advise on exits, trims, or additions.
- Execute buy / sell orders during market hours after discussion and approvals.
- Analyse quarterly results, and industry updates.
- Maintain and update portfolio trackers, P&L, capital gains documentation, and trade logs.
- Prepare weekly performance updates and monthly reports.
- Evaluate and take positions in derivatives (futures & options) - to be explored.
- Coordinate with brokers, platforms, and financial institutions for all operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, documentation, and tax-related paperwork.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.Strong understanding of Indian equity markets, financial statements, and valuation.Experience in equity research, trading, or portfolio management (1–5 years preferred).Ability to analyse companies using fundamental research.High integrity, discipline, and reliability.Proficiency with tools like Excel, Screener, TradingView, and brokerage platforms.The position aligns with live market timings (9 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM, Monday to Saturday) and requires the candidate to be present in the office every day. Therefore, applicants living reasonably close to the office location will be preferred.Experience in derivatives trading (F&O) - preferred.Prior experience in a PMS, brokerage, or research desk - preferred.
