Oracle Utilities is a business unit within Oracle that provides software solutions specifically designed for utility companies—including electric, gas, and water utilities . These solutions help utilities manage their operations more efficiently, improve customer service, support regulatory compliance, and enable innovation in the rapidly changing energy landscape.

Core Functions and Offerings :

  • Customer Information Systems (CIS) :
  • Manages customer billing, account management, and customer service processes.
  • Supports complex rate structures and large customer bases

We’re recruiting for our Applications sales team to take advantage of our marketing leading Cloud positioning and the evolution happening across people solutions and their impact on organisations.

We need someone who can demonstrate staying powerful in their sales careers, self-awareness in embracing their strengths and areas for development, plus the desire to continue to develop their consultative selling skills in a vendor environment such as ours. This is a hunting role, but thankfully our brand is a door opener, and you'll be working with existing customers also.

What You’ll Do

Net / New Sales Leadership position for a growing team. Oracle enjoys a competitive advantage in Oracle Apps.

  • Geographical Leadership - represent Oracle Applications in the market, to customers, system integration partners, prospects, internal stakeholders, industry associations, and the media
  • Thought Leadership - provide insight into the local Applications market, map our offerings to local market needs
  • Business Plan - develop and execute our plan to dominate the software market in Applications in collaboration with the solution strategy team
  • Territory Management - identify the market, target organisations, and segment according to your chosen go to market model
  • Account Management - handling the large clients including government agencies
  • Personnel Development - target, recruit, develop and retain a local sales team
  • Sales Incentive Planning - manage team quota achievement
  • Generate Demand - develop senior executive relationships within target accounts in the designated territory
  • Campaign Development & Execution - collaborate with the solution strategy team to develop marketing and PR campaigns in the local market
  • Strategic Sales - personally engage in the most strategic sales engagements, ensuring maximum sales conversion
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management - accurately manage sales reporting on opportunity qualification and sales forecasting
  • Customer Relationship Management - manage ongoing relationships with senior customers
  • Customer Referencability - ensure maximum customer referencability from sales through quality of delivery and relationship management Stakeholder Management - manage stakeholder relationships internally, both with the regional Apps & tech sales organisations
  • Business Practice Management - ensure the sales team adhere to company policy on pricing, approvals, and contracting.
  • Required Skills / Experience

    What You’ll Bring

  • Sales leadership – 18+ years of relevant experience in leading business cloud software sales, in a complex solution environment
  • Financial management – proven ability to manage sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Sales acumen – track record of delivering consistent sales success.
  • Industry knowledge – significant business software experience either vendor sales or consulting sales.
  • Network and Reputation - strong network of relevant strategic business and IT relationships and references.
  • Cloud Business Apps -several years' experience in the cloud business applications sales industry.
  • Business planning – Demonstrated ability to articulate a strategy and plan to build a sales business based on financial objectives, territory planning, marketing plans, etc.
  • Level : IC5
