Vice President - Operations

As we scale, we're seeking a results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead, streamline, and expand our logistics operations globally.

Position Summary :

The Vice President of Operations will oversee all core operational functions across the U.S. and international markets. This role is responsible for managing import / export workflows, leading department heads, driving process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing scalable systems and SOPs. The ideal candidate brings deep freight forwarding expertise, strategic leadership, and a track record of building high-performing, cross-functional operations teams.

Core Objective :

To lead company-wide logistics operations, optimize departmental performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a scalable infrastructure that supports business growth and service delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations across Import, Export, Drayage, and Warehousing functions
• Develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with organizational goals
• Lead and mentor department heads, driving performance, accountability, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FMC, TSA, and other relevant regulatory bodies
• Standardize SOPs and implement scalable systems and operational frameworks
• Define and monitor KPIs; analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Compliance departments
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, carriers, and key clients
• Support expansion into new U.S. regions and international trade lanes
• Champion automation, digital transformation, and cost-efficiency initiatives
