JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a seasoned Support Lead (Assistant Manager or Manager Level) to take full
ownership of our L2.5 Data / ETL Operations. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage real-time ETL support, drive root cause analysis, and implement preventive automation strategies.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert in ETL tools and SQL Server, with a strong track record in incident management and team leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Coordinate and manage ETL support incidents and escalations with full ownership of the
L2.5 support model.
Oversee real-time monitoring and detection of failed jobs, incomplete data, and
orchestration issues using ETL logs and workflow monitors.
Drive immediate triage, reruns, and validation of failed processes to minimize business
impact.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure implementation of long-term corrective actions.
Develop preventive automation scripts and controls to auto-restart jobs or alert upstream
dependencies.
Track and report key performance metrics including job success rates, downtime reduction,
and RCA closure.
Maintain and document corrective actions, RCA reports, and process improvements in the
knowledge base.
Ensure SLA adherence and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaborate effectively with client teams and offshore / onshore counterparts.
Mentor and lead L2.5 support engineers, promoting continuous improvement and
accountability.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
Strong hands-on experience with :
o SSIS
o Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.1
o Informatica IICS
Proficiency in SQL Server (2016–2022), including :
o T-SQL
o Agent jobs
o Stored procedures
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as :
o SQL Agent
o Informatica Console
o Email / Slack alert systems
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage teams, track performance, and ensure SLA compliance.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in RCA documentation and reporting.
