Key Responsibilities

• Manage Databases : Design, maintain, and support highly available databases for key applications.
• Optimize Performance : Monitor and tune databases to fix slow queries and improve efficiency.
• Ensure Security : Apply best practices to protect data and meet compliance standards.
• Backup & Recovery : Create and manage backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate : Work closely with data engineers, scientists, and developers to improve performance and support projects.
• Automate : Use tools to automate database monitoring, deployment, and maintenance.
• Document : Keep clear documentation of database systems and processes.
• Stay Current : Learn and recommend new database tools and technologies.
• Support : Provide advanced support for database issues and perform upgrades / patching.
