About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable OCI DBA (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Administrator) with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the OCI environment, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the databases and Fusion applications.

You will play a key role in system monitoring, identity management, and user / role administration within OCI.

Key Responsibilities :

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration :

Perform OCI administrative tasks including :

Creating and managing users, roles, groups, and policies
Resource provisioning and configuration (compute, storage, networking)
Monitoring OCI services and setting up system alerts using OCI tools and dashboards
Implement security best practices in OCI, including IAM policies and multi-factor authentication
Perform system refresh activities including environment clones and backup / restore procedures
Work with OCI native services (Object Storage, Block Volume, VCN, etc.) to support application and database requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to OCI resources and service limits

Fusion Applications Support :

Provide operational support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (such as Financials, SCM, HCM, etc.)

Monitor application health and performance and proactively identify and resolve issues

Work on environment refreshes, patching, and user access control in Fusion Applications

Collaborate with application teams and business stakeholders to ensure platform stability and security

Assist in incident, problem, and change management processes for Fusion environments

Required Skills and Qualifications :

2.55 years of experience as OCI Administrator / DBA, preferably supporting Oracle Fusion Applications

Hands-on experience in :

OCI console and CLI

Creating and managing users, groups, and roles in OCI IAM

System monitoring, alert configurations, and responding to incidents

Managing OCI compute instances, storage, and network resources

Strong understanding of Fusion Applications architecture and related cloud infrastructure components

Experience with environment refresh processes and Fusion system administration

Familiarity with patch management, cloning, and backup strategies

Good knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security configurations

Ability to work with global teams and support production and non-production environments

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
