What youll doIn your new role, you ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions. You ll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.

Youll work as a subject matter expert to oversee, manage and contribute in Mainframe technical areas of Production incidents, system changes as per business regulatory requirements, new projects design and development, programme impact assessments and decommissions.

You ll also be :

The skills youll needYou ll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers. Youll need at least ten years of experience working with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CA7.
