DESCRIPTION :

Amazon's Pricing team seeks a Support Engineer to build and maintain mission-critical infrastructure that impacts millions of customers worldwide. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable infrastructure systems while creating automation solutions for operational and development processes. The position requires expertise in DevOps engineering, systems administration, network architecture, and software development. You will collaborate closely with development teams to optimize system performance, analyze complex technical issues, and develop innovative solutions for customer-facing services. As a key member of the team, you will gain deep expertise in our system architecture while building solutions that directly impact Amazon's global customer base.

Key job responsibilities

Primary responsibilities encompass resolving operational issues through systematic troubleshooting and diagnosis. You will develop comprehensive monitoring solutions while managing infrastructure maintenance and configuration. The role requires tracking and resolving technical challenges across our systems. You will collaborate with the development team to enhance existing software, automate support processes, and maintain thorough system documentation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

• 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Experience in Unix
• Experience scripting in modern program languages
