Job Summary
As a Customer Support Executive (Agri-Tech) at Khetpe, you’ll serve as the point of contact for farmers across Maharashtra to address and resolve issues. Your primary responsibility will be to help farmers effectively use the Khetpe app, log and resolve their queries, and bridge the communication between farmers and our product team. This role is ideal for someone who understands rural communities, has empathy for farmer challenges, and wants to make a real impact through technology-driven agricultural solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Farmer Interaction & Support
- Handle inbound farmer calls and queries with professionalism and empathy
- Provide assistance in Marathi and Hindi regarding app features, usage, and troubleshooting
- Guide farmers through app onboarding and digital literacy support
- Ensure timely resolution of farmer issues and maintain high satisfaction levels
2.Documentation & Reporting
Record all farmer interactions and categorize them as :Bug reportsFeature requestsGeneral inquiriesAgri-advisory questionsSuggestions / FeedbackPrepare daily / weekly reports summarizing key insights and recurring issuesMaintain structured data in CRM / Google Sheets or ticketing systems (training will be provided)3.Coordination & Collaboration
Escalate unresolved or technical issues to the product or tech teamsShare farmer feedback with the internal teams to improve app features and servicesCollaborate with field and operations teams to ensure consistent communication with farmer networksContinuous ImprovementContribute insights from field interactions to help improve user experienceParticipate in periodic review meetings with product and operations teamsSupport the setup and transition to WhatsApp and in-app chat support systemsRequired Qualifications
1. Mandatory Requirements
Fluency in Marathi and Hindi (spoken and written) – essential for farmer communication1–3 years of customer support experience, ideally in agriculture or rural service sectorsUnderstanding of agriculture / farming practices and rural farmer challengesExcellent communication, patience, and empathyBasic computer and smartphone literacyAbility to learn and work with CRM / ticketing software (training provided)2. Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Rural Development, or a related field3. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in agri-tech companies, farmer cooperatives, or agricultural institutionsExperience assisting users with low or varying digital literacy levelsBasic English for internal communication and reportingKey Competencies & Skills
