Experience : 8-12 years

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end revenue processes — from billing, invoicing, and collections to reconciliations and revenue reporting.
  • Identify and manage major streams of revenue within the FinTech ecosystem (transaction fees, subscriptions, interchange income, commissions, float income, etc.).
  • Review and interpret contractual clauses to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and safeguard against revenue leakage.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with applicable Accounting Standards .
  • Prepare and maintain unearned / deferred and unbilled revenue schedules , ensuring accurate classification and timely recognition.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly revenue closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports covering revenue performance, trends, and insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Legal teams for contract review and operational alignment.
  • Support audit requirements (internal / external / statutory) related to revenue and receivables.
  • Lead initiatives in revenue forecasting, planning, and analysis , providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance billing, collection, and reporting processes for scalability and control.
  • Requirements

  • Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional degree in Accounting / Finance.
  • Experience : 8–12 years of experience in revenue accounting, financial reporting.
  • Industry Exposure : Experience in FinTech or financial services is highly preferred .
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles , deferred / unbilled revenue , and contract accounting .
  • In-depth understanding of accounting standards.
  • Proven track record in preparing MIS reports, revenue forecasts, and reconciliations .
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP / NetSuite / Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
