Dhruva Space is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales & Business Development Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and Space Tech innovation, with a strong drive to identify business opportunities, engage with clients, and support the end-to-end sales process.
This is an individual contributor role suited for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a measurable impact in India’s emerging private Space Tech ecosystem. In this full-time, on-site position, you will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to convert leads into meaningful business engagements at one of India’s leading Space Tech companies.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Research and identify potential clients across the Space, Defense, and Deep Technology sectors.
- Generate leads through networking, outreach, and participation in industry events and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize impactful collaterals.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Support the development of proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
- Coordinate client meetings, demos, and discussions with internal teams.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective clients to nurture relationships and gather feedback.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals, pricing, and documentation align with company standards.
- Follow up on active opportunities to support timely closure and contract execution.
- Track competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging technologies for business intelligence.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on leads, opportunities, and pipeline progress for internal review.
- Suggest improvements in outreach, communication, and client engagement strategies.
Candidate Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.2–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, ideally in Aerospace, Defense, Deep-tech, or Industrial B2B sectors.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical ability to understand client needs and align them with technical offerings.Proficiency with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
