Job Title : Head of Learning & Development (PSS07460)

About the client : PSS has been mandated to hire a Head of Learning & Development for a non-banking financial company (NBFC) that focuses on financial inclusion in rural India. It offers microfinance, microbusiness loans, and other financial products tailored for rural customers.
Job Purpose
Create a learning culture in the organization, and direct the organizational and employee development process by bridging the gap between the available and desired levels of knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Contribution : Design learning strategy and institutionalize continuous learning among employees and various units within the IFMR Rural Channels ecosystem.
- Leadership : Support the organization's aims and objectives by taking responsibility for the management and development of curriculum.
- Target Setting : In liaison with Business heads and functional heads, forecast and set training targets and manage the activities required to meet those targets. Produce an annual report on the Learning and Development, benchmarking its achievements against best practices.
- Policies & Procedures : Comply with all organizational Policies and procedures and ensure that these policies are followed by employees and reflected in appropriate teaching strategies.
- Organization Development : Provide leadership in development of courses and training methodology to ensure high levels of retention and achievement.
Educational Qualifications And Experience
MBA from a good business school with 10-15 years of experience.Strong training background with a large or growing mid-sized organization with at least 1000 employees at multiple locations, preferably of diverse culture and socio–economic background.Skills Required
