Why This Role Exists
We’re expanding our Account Management team to partner with a growing base of fast-moving engineering organizations. You’ll work closely with tech leads, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs, building strong relationships, driving adoption of Hivel’s tools, and ensuring accounts continue to grow with us.
What You’ll Do
- Own and expand customer relationships post-sale for mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Lead account planning and growth strategies to maximize customer value and revenue
- Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs / MBRs) with executive stakeholders to align on goals and identify new opportunities
- Drive renewals, expansions, and upsells with a focus on long-term impact and account health
- Understand engineering workflows (SDLC, agile, dev tools) to position Hivel’s insights effectively
- Support US-based customers as needed, with flexibility for occasional evening calls
- Track account health metrics and take proactive steps to improve retention and growth
- Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to represent the customer voice and influence the roadmap
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or another client-facing SaaS roleHands-on experience managing mid-market or enterprise accounts with measurable growth impactStrong communication and executive presence, with confidence in leading QBRs / MBRs and renewal negotiationsFamiliarity with engineering workflows, SDLC, and tools like Jira, GitHub, or CI / CD platformsProven ability to manage complex accounts, structure problems, and deliver outcomes end-to-endBrownie Points
You’ve worked in AM / CS roles at developer tools or engineering-focused startupsExperience working directly with US-based clients or global accountsTrack record of delivering revenue expansion in SaaSA technical education background (CS, IT, BCA, Engineering) that helps you speak the language of our usersWhat You’ll Get
