What You'd Be Doing In This Role

The SEO group keeps growing globally (150 people globally!). Keyword researchers, Tech SEO specialists, SEO content specialists, Copywriters, Engineers, Data analysts, Designers, Operations specialists – we've got it all covered, and in many regions of the world.

We're looking for a passionate SEO Content Specialist to join and help us scale our next phase of growth in India.

Being supported by our global SEO team, you will expand the foundations of SEO Content strategy in India by localising our global website and creating engaging content for Indian audiences.

You'll thrive and adapt in a hyper-growth environment, and be confident in making decisions and tradeoffs backed by data and experience. You have a curiosity for problem-solving, identifying new opportunities and continuous process improvements.

What You&aposll Do

• Having a clear overview and understanding of our brand&aposs goals, messaging, and values, you will participate in regular content audits to scale our content strategy in India, in alignment with our overarching business objectives.
• You will support our India SEO Content Specialist with Competitor and Indian keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant, and intent-driven terms.
• You will localise some of the most relevant pages of our English website to ensure the highest rankings of our Indian website.
• You will regularly keep track and optimise our landing pages to maintain freshness and improve content credibility and user engagement.
• You will follow (and build on) existing content requirements for our website and ensure timely launches by following our content calendar.
• You will track the impact of that content, contribute to writing actionable playbooks and deliver articles at the highest quality standards.
• You will upload and publish content that follows the latest SEO copy best practices and fits our local tone of voice, which is set by our language managers
• You have a strong eye for detail in order to catch typos, grammatical lapses and the different nuances of requested topics
• And of course, you'll have fun and enjoy working with our amazing international team!

About You

About The Team

Working closely with our India SEO lead, our India SEO Content Specialist and our India Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging and converting SEO landing pages. You&aposll have access to a range of the best enterprise-level third-party tools, as well as several platforms and products we have built in-house that help us to world-class SEO.

You will be able to draw inspiration from past successes of Canva's global Content Strategy, but we count on your deep local knowledge to reach Indian users in ways that we may not have explored before.
